In-depth interview of Jeff Manber in Space Quarterly

By Jeffrey Manber –

Eva-Jane Lark really pushed me during our interview for Space Quarterly, and the result, as I’m sure everyone agrees, is a really good article on where we are in commercial space and where we are going both as a company and an industry.

The idea of a non-profit running the operations on the U.S. side of the station and as a national lab is a wonderful step forward–and we are looking forward to working with everyone at CASIS.

In the coming months we will be working…

By Jeffrey Manber – We have been working around the clock to not only create proposals for NASA’s SBIR 2011, but to answer questions and work with other companies that are submitting proposals based on NanoRacks’ facilities and standards.

It’s been a strange experience. Multiple times over the past couple of weeks, Mike Johnson and his team have found themselves helping companies understand…

Progress Cargo Ship Failure

By Jeffrey Manber – The russian cargo ship Progress 44 p which launched today with more than 2 tons of cargo for the space station seems to have suffered a catastrophic failure.

The six person crew onboard the station is unaffected. There are also ample supplies. We are confident the Russian authorities will quickly pinpoint this, the first Russian hardware failure during ISS.

Finally, this…
