Henry’s role as Sales Director is to oversee near-term financial growth for Nanoracks. After years of work on over 150 small satellites, his passion for space access drove him to lead sales of the company’s products and services while also identifying new technologies required to accommodate the expanding needs of the diverse commercial aerospace industry. Henry began at Nanoracks in 2015 working as a mission manager. Having never seen a CubeSat in his life, his immediate love for the small satellite’s capabilities led him to serve as the lead mission manager for the QB50 ISS launch of 28 spacecraft and program manager of the External Cygnus program. Promoted to External Payloads manager in 2018, he oversaw the mission management staff while leading the launch of the RED-EYE microsatellite constellation and multiple payloads on the PSLV and SpaceX Falcon 9 Rideshare missions. Among his accolades, he has been awarded by the ISS Transportation Office for major cargo contributions on the OA-7 Cygnus mission and worked to successfully gain approval to deploy propulsive satellites from ISS visiting vehicles.
Henry graduated from Davidson College (NC) in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a minor in Hispanic Studies. He is an avid outdoorsman, boater, cook, lacrosse player, and Redskins fan. Hailing from the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, he also loves his Wildcats.
