Overview:
The NASA HUNCH Flight Hardware Processing Assistant has responsibility for supporting the High School Students United with NASA to Create Hardware (HUNCH) project. The HUNCH program provides an innovative, strategic, education partnership pairing NASA’s unique capabilities and experience with the ingenuity of high school and intermediate students in creating authentic hardware and softgoods for NASA to use in support of missions and research.
The NASA HUNCH Flight Hardware Processing Assistant will work with the Flight Hardware Assembly Expert and a team of technical specialists to support high school students and teachers at partner schools in the successful fabrication and processing of aerospace hardware for NASA. Support required by the NASA HUNCH Flight Hardware Processing Assistant includes providing technical training and troubleshooting to participating teachers.
